i can stare at these all day.... 

i dont know why im starting now. prolly becuase its the last month of my second trimester. 

yeah, that didnt make sense.

anyway, havent posted anything about the pregnancy so i figured, sige na nga, mag post na tayo.

i just came from my third ultrasound hoping to find out if we're having a boy or a girl. unfortunately, my baby's shy and it wont open its legs -- still keeping us in suspense. mana sa nanay. masyadong secretive. hehe. according to the sonographer, looks like everything's on target. right now, the baby weighs a pound or so. yet i gained almost 15 since i found out. talk about water retention. hahah. she said i may be carrying a girl. but since baby has its legs crossed at the ankles, she wasnt 100%. kinda confusing cos when i had the ultrasound a month ago, they said it looked like a boy. i want to know. waaaah. i dont want to expect a girl and find out its a boy or vice versa. that happened to one of my cousins and friends. 

hay, hay, hay.

so, i guess we have to hold off on decorating the nursery. maybe we'll be luckier on the next visit.

i cant believe i'm saying this right now, but its the truth and i feel it...i actually miss being employed. hahah.

matt luba wasnt kidding when he said delaware was flat. no, he wasnt talking level-wise. flat = dull. and i concur.

then again, i've only been here for a couple of months. so... we'll see.

almost everything is ready. i thumbed over my checklist this morning and i just need 3 more things then i'm done.

speaking of countdowns. i'm gonna be unemployed in 2 weeks. it feels kinda surreal knowing i'm leaving my work. i got my first job here almost 5 years ago. wow. it's sad cos the people here are like family. but i need to move on. new opportunities awaiting... i think. hahah.

I'm currently reading "Shopaholic & Baby" by Sophie Kinsella and this bit just cracked me up. It's so hilarious, I had to share it.

          "What are you doing?" The sonographer's voice makes me jump. She's standing at the door with Luke, looking appalled. "That's hospital equipment! You shouldn't be touching it!"
          "I'm sorry," I say, wiping my eyes. "But I just had to have another quick look. Luke, I'm talking to our baby. It's just...amazing."
           I don't care if Luke sees its a boy and the surprise is ruined. I have to share this precious moment with him.
          "Look, there's the head!" I point. "Hello, darling!"
          "Where's its face?" Luke sounds a bit perturbed.
          "Dunno. Round the other side." I gave a little wave. "It's Mummy and Daddy here! And we love you very--"
          "Mrs. Brandon," The sonographer cuts me off. "you're talking to your bladder."
